Did you know there may be serious consequences with dehydration? Dehydration is when the body loses more water than it takes in. Being dehydrated may negatively influence your blood pressure, but severe cases may include pneumonia, urinary tract infections (UTI), and bedsores (just to name a few).
There are some reasons for older adults experiencing dehydration, such as the medicine we take and losing a sense of thirstiness as we age.
